Low-Carbon Society

The electricity generated from our 270 wind turbines is 100% renewable and clean energy.
We create an average annual reduction of 900,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2e), which iscomparable to the purifying effect of 41 million large trees.

International Standards

We utilize globally recognized carbon credit standards, including Gold Standard and VERRA, as well as the International Renewable Energy Certificate (IREC) standard. The company has sold carbon credits and IRECs to international buyers, primarily in the European Union and the United States.

At WEH, we prioritize peaceful coexistence with local communities, particularly in our project areas. This drives us to actively engage with communities across various dimensions:

  • Infrastructure Development: Upgrading local infrastructure, such as roads with street lighting, helps enhance transportation efficiency and facilitates the transport of agricultural produce.
  • Smart Classrooms: Providing future-ready skills through “Smart Classrooms” that equip youth with essential knowledge in Coding, STEM, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • WEH CUP: A 7-a-side youth football tournament designed to build the athletic skills of young talents locally and nationwide, attracting over 1,400 participants.
