WEH Executive Shares Insights on Wind Energy Technology at “Wind Energy 101” Seminar

Bangkok – Mr. Akarit Viriyajarn, Head of Operations at Wind Energy Holding Co., Ltd. (WEH), recently delivered a keynote presentation on “Technology and the Development of Onshore and Offshore Wind Projects” at the “Wind Energy 101” event, organized by the Thai Wind Energy Association. The seminar aimed to raise public awareness and understanding of wind energy, a key source of clean power that plays a vital role in helping Thailand reach its Carbon Neutrality target by 2050 and achieve Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2065.

As Thailand’s leading wind energy producer and a pioneer in the sector, WEH is operating 8 wind farms with a total installed capacity of 717 MW. These projects comprise 270 wind turbines, covering 850 square kilometers across Nakhon Ratchasima and Chaiyaphum provinces. WEH has also adopted globally recognized carbon credit certifications—including Gold Standard, VERRA, and International Renewable Energy Certificates (IRECs)—across all its wind power facilities.
